QuickTime Conflict Resolution
QuickTime commonly needs to be disabled, since it doesn't support multipage TIFFs or TIFFs with JFIF compression. If you get a broken picture QuickTime plugin (Figure 1) or a quick time plugin menu when you right click on an image (Figure 2), then your computer is set to view TIFFs with Quicktime.

Here are the steps to follow to disable QuickTime:

Load QuickTime and choose QuickTime Preferences from the Edit Preferences menu.

Choose Browser Plug-in from the drop down box, then click on MIME Settings.

Expand the Images box so that you can see all the active file types.

Find the TIFF Box and un-X it. Then, close all windows and restart your browser and you should be set.
