Credit by Exam - IB Credit

Students who received the IB diploma may receive credit for scores of 4 or higher on both higher-level and standard-level examinations.
Students who did not receive the IB diploma will receive credit for scores of 5 or higher on higher-level examinations only.

Scores of 4 or higher in IB French B, German B, Classical Latin and Spanish B fulfill the foreign language proficiency requirement for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Journalism and the B.A. programs in the College of Fine Arts, regardless of whether the student has earned the IB diploma.

The chart below also specifies the General Education and Writing* and Math** requirements (Gordon Rule) credit earned.
