The Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance is intended for students who are pursuing professional careers, allied fields or graduate study. This B.F.A. also is offered at the New World School of the Arts in Miami.

Semester 1:

  • 2.0 UF GPA required for semesters 1-5
  • Complete 3 of 12 critical-tracking courses DAA 2381, DAN 2100, DAA 2610, DAA 2611, TPA 2232C, six DAA – dance technique courses and DAN 4180 with a grade of C or better

Semester 2:

  • Complete 2 additional tracking courses with a grade C or better

Semester 3:

  • Complete 3 additional tracking courses with a grade of C or better

Semester 4:

  • Complete 3 additional tracking courses with a grade of C or better
  • Complete successful audition

Semester 5:

  • Complete DAN 4180 with a grade of C or better

To remain on track, students must complete the appropriate critical-tracking courses, which will be bold.
