It is important that any students interested in digital arts and science confer with the adviser in the School of Art and Art History regarding this program. The rapid pace of technological development may necessitate periodic updates to the specific course titles and numbers published. Consequently, the curriculum outlined in this catalog should be regarded as an outline. Currently updated curriculum sheets from the adviser and SASS audits are the most reliable form for this major.

Semester 1:

  • 2.0 UF GPA
  • Complete a total of 9 hours (ART 1802C, ART 1803C) or a total of 6 hours of any ART or PGY or GRA course at the 2000 level with a grade of B or better.

Semester 2:

  • 2.5 UF GPA
  • Complete 4 of 10 critical courses (ART 2305C, ART 2931C, ARH 2050, ARH 2051, ART 2932C, ART 2757C or ART 2930C, ART 2933C, GRA 2111C, PGY 2101, ART 2501 or 2401C) with a grade of B or better

Semester 3:

  • 2.75 UF GPA
  • Complete 4 additional critical courses with a grade of B or better

Semester 4:

  • 3.0 UF GPA
  • Complete 2 additional critical courses with a grade of B or better
  • Complete the CLAST exam or be exempted

To remain on track, students must complete the appropriate critical-tracking courses, which will be bold.
