Art Education
Description of the Major
The Bachelor of Arts in Art Education prepares you to teach art in public schools for certification as K-12 art teachers in Florida and other National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) states. Through field placements in local art classrooms and alternative art education settings, you gain the knowledge and skills as art teachers to effectively meet the needs of all learners in a variety of educational contexts.
