Business Home | History & Overview | Policies/Procedures | Degree Requirements | Programs | Organizations

This interdisciplinary minor is sponsored jointly by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Warrington College of Business Administration. The program is designed for students interested in quantitative techniques who wish to apply their skills in a business or government setting.

Upon successful completion, students will receive a minor in actuarial science that will be noted on their transcript.

Students may complete the program while earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration or a Liberal Arts and Sciences degree. Students should plan their program so that some of these courses also count toward department and degree requirements.

Students seeking further information on the requirements for the minor in actuarial science should contact Dr. Bruce Edwards (mathematics), Dr. David Nye (finance and insurance) or Dr. Dennis Wackerly (statistics).
