The departments of Botany and Zoology offer a new interdisciplinary major in integrative biology for undergraduates who are interested in a broader approach to biological sciences. The curriculum is flexible and develops fundamental knowledge of animals, plants, and microorganisms. It is tailored to meet the needs of pre-professional students, those seeking a career in teaching in secondary education, and those students preparing for graduate studies in various areas of biology.
