Geography

College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

As a minor, geography offers useful complements to students in environmental sciences, human sciences, business, international studies, planning, agricultural sciences, travel and tourism, and to careers that require international understanding and knowledge of local and regional conditions.

At least 15 credits are required. No more than six credits may be by transfer. Students must meet all college requirements for the minor.

  • Choose one: GEO 2200 or 2201
  • Choose one: GEO 1010, 2410, 2420 or 2500
  • Three GEA or GEO courses at the 3000 level or higher. Each course must be at least three credits and none may be an individual work course.
