Recreation, Parks and Tourism - Travel and Tourism Planning

Travel and Tourism Planning prepares students for employment opportunities in the tourism industry and with agencies responsible for travel and tourism development, and in resort recreation management. A specialization in regional tourism planning and development is also offered.

To remain 'on track' for this major you must meet the following critical tracking criteria. The critical tracking courses appear in bold.

Semester 1:

  • 2.0 UF GPA required for sems 1-5
  • Complete 1 of the 8 critical tracking courses (PSY2012, SYG2000, ECO2013, MAR3023, MAN3025, (ENC2210 or AEE3033C), (EDF3110 or DEP3053), (SPC2600 or AEE3030C)

Semester 2:

  • Complete 2 additional critical tracking courses

Semester 3:

  • Complete 3 additional critical tracking courses
