2006-07 Undergraduate Catalog

Established: 1926. In 1996, named for Alfred C. Warrington IV, an alumnus
whose generous gift benefits the college.

Accredited: The Warrington College of Business is accredited by the AACSB International. The college was the first in the nation to be accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

Academic Advising: The Undergraduate Programs Office provides academic advising, career counseling, professional development opportunities and study abroad programs for undergraduate students.

Programs: The Warrington College of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSAc) from the Fisher School of Accounting, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.

The college also offers combined-degree and one-year master's programs in Decision and Information Sciences (MSDIS), Finance (MSF), International Business (MAIB), Management (MSM, for non-business majors only) and Real Estate (MSRE).

A minor in business administration for non-business majors, a minor in entrepreneurship and a certificate in retailing leadership is also available to undergraduates.

In addition to completing a degree, all business majors are encouraged to gain practical work experience through co-ops, internships and community service. The Warrington College of Business also offers students a wide variety of professional development and leadership opportunities, including study abroad, the Florida Leadership Academy, involvement in student organizations and research options.

The college encourages all business majors to take Warrington Welcome - First Year Florida (SLS 1102 for business majors), which serves as an introduction to our college and provides students with the opportunity to connect with faculty, advisers and fellow business students.
